We love three day weekends!!!

Beware of many, many photos. It was UEA for teachers this weekend so Miks sis Mindy decided to drive up from Arizon with her family to Richfield. Mike took Fri. off work and we headed down for three days of fun. Friday morning Mike and I went for a bike ride on the twist above Glenwood. It was so fun. I have been dieing to go mountain biking all summer. I havn't got to go at all this summer. Kids, you know. That afternoon wile kids were sleeping we did a little hike to a place called Bulls Head right above Richfield. It was really fun. The mountains in Richfield are so unique. I love all the red rock.
Hi Mike
This little part is called Lemon Squeeze. I think you can see why.
We made it to the top of Bulls Head. Yea!!! Wile we were hiking down Mike spoted this little dropp off he wanted to try on his bike. Thats my Mike always thinking about mountain biking.
Here is Kacey checking out the drop off. The picturs don't do it justis. I thought it was pretty big.
Go Mike!!
I recorded a little video of mike doing the jump. This is the first time he did it. He always just goes for it. I think it is so awesome. Mike just amazes me every day. Again the video doesn't do it justis.

The next day we did the neetest thing. I will never forget it. We went to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. It was a real pumpkin patch. They pull you out in to the patch on a hay ride pulled by a trackter. Then you get to wanter the patch and pick your pumpkin. It was so neet to find a pumpkin and then pick it off the stem. We had a great time.
Here is the patch.
Wade-o looking for his pumpkin.
Kingston and Daddy.
Look at the awesome pumpkins we found.

They had a trackter with a little train atached to it. All the little kids wanted to ride on it but at the time we got thier no one was around to drive it. So of course Mike just hopped on and started it up. Again he amazes me. Who knows how to drive a trackter. I didn't even know he could do that. He drove the kids all around. They loved it.
Wade-o on the train.

Later that afternoon we drove up to the Big Rock Candy Mountain and road our bikes down the paved road in the canyon. We barowed bikes from neihbors and a bike trailer for Wade and King. They had so much fun rideing along as you can tell.
The old train tunnel.
What a fun ride. Go grandma go.

We finished the trip up by picking apples in Grandmas back yard. We had so much fun. Thanks for the great trip. Now Wade has to go threw Grandma detox before his Grandma Hoagey shows up this next week and spoils him all over agian. We love Grandmas.

I had to give a sneek peek

I don't want to compleetly give away our Christmas card this year but I had to give a seek peek. This past week Alicia came and took our family picture for our Christmas card. Let me just say that she is so talented. These pictures turned out so good. I wanted to post all of them but I have to save some for the Christmas card. If you like these you will love the others but you will just have to wait. Thanks again Alicia for taking our pics. You are so awesome and such a good friend. Pretty much you rule. Thanks

First snow of the year YEA!!!

This morning we woke up to a big suprise. It snowed the first snow of the season. I have never seen Wade so excited. He started dancing and saying "It snowed, it snowed, i'm gonna go snowboarding." I was laughing so hard. I have no idea ware he learned that from. Just kiding. We put on his snow boots(thankfully they still fit, barley). He ran out side and started throwing snow balls.

Wade throwing a snowball at dad.
Mike and Wade built a little snow man. Wade rolled the middle ball. He looked so big out side rolling the snow ball. Mike is such a fun dad and always loves to play with Wade.
After playing in the snow for a wile we decided to go for a ride to get some hot chocolate. It was so funny. When we walked into the gas station Wade looked at the cashier and said, "I ate some snow." The cashier said, "Oh ya? Was it good?" Wade responded, "Ya, it wasn't yellow." The guy started laughing so hard. I love Wade so much. He says the funniest stuff. I am greatfull he is my son and I get to be around his coolness all the time. He is way cooler than I am and I can't believe I get to be his mom. Stay cool Wade, I love you so much.

Fall Fun!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE fall weather. Growing up in California we never had any season changes. Since I have lived in Utah i have grown to look forward to the season changes. Fall is one of my favorites. This is the canyon that is just five min from our house. It is so beautiful right now with all of the colorfull trees.
Kingston love his uncle ryan so much.
Mikes sis Katie came up and stayed with us. Wade had so much fun with is cousins Crew and Madison.
Grandama Hoagie came up to stay with us for a few days. Wade and Kingston love her and have had so much fun. Wade has had fun baking bread, collecting leaves and doing fun projects with grandma.
It was such a beautifull day. We had so much fun looking at all of the colors and hiking around the mountain. Any time that I am in nature and I see the beauty of this earth, my heart fills with warmth and I know that God is there for me. This life is so sort. We need to live it every day the best we can. Family relationships are so important and I am so greatfull for the family that I have and the memories we are building along the way. Sorry for that little tangent, Monsons talk really got to me.

California Trip!!!

Alicia I stoll thease pictures from you I hope you don't mind. Your such an awesome photagrapher I couldn't help it. Any way a little over a week ago I started feeling like I just needed to get out of here for a little bit. I wanted to just go on a trip. Of course it would have been better if I didn't have to take my kids along but that is how it goes. I texed Alicia to see if she wanted to come with. I thought that she prob couln't cause they are right in the middle of building a house but to my suprise she said she could come. The next day we packed up the kids and headed out. It was a long drive to say the least. Jaxon and Wade never stopped fighting. The babies did pretty good though. The first day we went to the beach and it was so much fun. We swam in the ocean and road the waves. I miss the beach. That night we went to Knotts Scary Farm. It was pretty fun but for some reason I got off of one of the rollercoasters feeling so weired. Then I felt sick. I think it was a combination of things that did it. I was so tiered from the drive and I had a bad cold and it didn't help that it was 2 in the morning. Alicia was such a good friend. She drove me home. I held my puke in all the way home but as soon as I stepped out of the car i bent over and puked my guts out. It was Awesome!!! Alicia just stood thier in support. I felt better afterward anyway. Thanks for being such a good friend Alicia.

The next day we went to the El Toro air force base and road in a helium balloon. It was pretty cool. It was kinda windy so they only let us go up 200 feet in the air. I think we were all scared. I can't imagine going up 400 feet witch is what it usually dose. Wile we waited the boys had fun climbing in the trees and dropping from the branches.
The next day we went to D Land. It was awesome cause we got in for free. Thanks Jonny. The boys had so much fun meeting Mickey Mouse. Wade told Mickey that he was his best friend (along with grandma Hoagy of course). We got home from D Land at about 10:30 at night. Alicia and I both looked at our sleeping kids in the back of the car and then at eachother. We were both thinking the same thing. "Lets drive all night." We packed up in about an hour and left. We decided we would both stay awake all night talking to keep eachother awake. We stopped and the gas station and stocked up on energy drinks. The whole night is a blurr. I don't remember half of the stuff we talked about but I remember laughing so hard and just feelin compleetly delusional. All in all it was a fun trip. One that I will surely remember and laugh about for years to come.

So You Think You Can DANCE, DANCE, DANCE!!!

This Tue night Mike, Marsh, Nany and I went to the So You Think You Can Dance tour. It was ao awesome. I was compleatly obsessed with watching this show when it was on. Thease kids are so talented. It was really cool to see it in person. They really put on a great show.
4 REAL!!!
They performed so many great dances. All of the favorites.
All I wanted was to see one dance. The breefcase dance. I was so excited when they did it. I fillmed the hole thing but my computer is not letting me down load it right now so here is a picture. This dance is so amazing. If you havn't seen it you should find it on You tube. It was so cool to see it live.

I'm in LOVE!!!

I can't help my self. I am so in love with these two boys. Last night we had Wade get in the bath with Kingston for the first time. I can't believe how much Kingston already looks up to Wade. You can just see it in his face. He wants to be just like his older brother (not a bad thing cause we think Wade is pretty cool) he watches Wade so intently. He smiles and laughs so hard at his big bro. I wish I could freeze time right now and keep them both at this age for a long time. I love this age in their lives. This is a video of them in the bath last night. They are so funny together. I hope as they grow they stay close.

JACK JOHNSON BABY!!!!

This is Mike and I at the Jack Johnson concert this past Monday night. It was an awesome concert. We went with our friends Brooke and Vaughn and some of their friends. There is just something so nice about live music at an out door amphitheater in the summer. I love summer nights anyway but this was so fun. Mike and I love Jack Johnson and we couldn't believe how good he was live. His voice is just so clear and nice. We had a great time.
We had pretty good seats. This is where we watched the concert from.
This is where Mike watched the concert from. Of course, if you know Mike then you know that he doesn't know how to sit still in one place for very long. He had to get up and walk around for awhile. As soon as he got up I knew where he was headed. He was going to find a way back stage. Mike always tries to get back stage at concerts that he goes to. More than not he succeeds. I don't know how he does it. He is amazing. He always wants me to try with him but I am to much of a woose. I just get to nervous. So of course after a few min my phone rang. It was Mike who says. "Can you see me waving." I look up on stage and see this guy in the background waving. Mike watched the whole concert sitting right off stage. He thought for sure they would kick him out but they never did.
Another great pic by Mike. It was such an awesome night. If you havn't seen Jack live i would for sure recommend it. He is really great. I would say that he almost even sounds better live than his CDs. THX TO JOSH AND ALICIA FOR WATCHING THE BOYS!!!!! LOVE YA

POP ROCKS!!!

Wade tried pop rocks to night for the first time. When i first pored some in his mouth he got a funny look on his face followed by a huge smile. Then he looked at me and said,"Mom that candy is wiggling in my mouth." I started laughing so hard. I think we may have a new candy obsession on our hands.

Mesquite Vacation

Wow we had such a fun trip this week. We went with my family to Mesquite. We mostly just hung out by the pool. It was so relaxing and fun.
Kingston had fun with his Grandma Hoagie. He loves the water and he loved just people watching and being out side. He was so good for us this trip. It was really nice.
They had a water slide at one of the pools and Wade and his cosins loved it. I bet Wade went on that slide more than anyone has ever gone on it before. He would get out and swim to the edge than head up to go on it again. Isabelle and Wade would head in to the slide sitting on their bums and come out all diffrent ways. They would come out on their belly head first, or their back head first. I didn't see it, but my brother said that one time he could hear them laughing in the slide and when they came out Wade was on his belly feet first and Isabelle was on her belly head first, so they were staring at each other the whole way down and laughing. They had so much fun playing together.
One night we road the go carts and went to the mini golf course. Wade loves the go carts. No joke this is what Wades hair looked like when he got off. He doesn't seem to care to much but Isabelle is trying to fix her hair.
The kids had so much fun playing together. Here is Wade Isabelle and Jaden all playing cards. They didn't know what they were doing but they look like they are playing a seriouse game of uno. This trip was so fun. Thanks mom and dad for a great vacation. We had so much fun.

New found FUN!!!

I have been feeling like a lame house wife lately and i have been wanting a new hobie. Well I found it. Alicia told me how she had been rideing a long board lately. I got my self one and for the past two nights we have been longboarding. It has been so fun because it is somthing that we can just bring our kids and do. I'm not very good at it yet but after some time hopefully I will get a little better.
Wade and Jaxon have fun fighting over the helmit and riding on thier skate board.
This Sunday afternoon we rode up Provo canyon to do the trail there. Their has been a fire in that canyon for about the past ten days. It seems like they get control of it and then all of a sudden it starts up again. Maybe it's a bunch of diffrent fires. I don't know. As we were driving up you could see the flames it was neet to see.
We pulled over for a minute to watch the fire and the fire helicopter came down right by us to get water out of the river. It was crazy. Wade and Jaxon loved it.
This is us at the Provo canyon trail. We had Mike do the trail first to see what it was like. Then Alicia and I went. I am totally hooked. It was so fun. The trail was the perfect incline for us. I got nervis a few times because I didn't know what to expect but I think I won't be as nervis next time. Any way, we had a great time. Thanks for long boarding with me Alicia and for being my friend. Your awesome.

We have a fisherman.

We got Wade a real fishing pole for his birthday. He really wanted a cars fishing pole. Ever since he got it he has been asking to go fishing. Last night for family night we took him. He caught his first fish ever. It was so awesome to watch him real the fish in. When we pulled it out of the water Wade asked if it was fake. Then it started flopping around and off the hook. We let him go but Wade was pretty proud of the first fish he ever caught. His first little rainbow trout.
He is a seriouse little fisherman. Like father like son.
Wade and his trophy fish. It so huge we should have kept it and mounted it for him. J/K.

Kingston had fun too.

The first thing people say when they see Kingston is, Wow look at thoughs big eyes." They used to say the same thing about Wade but I never knew what it ment. They aren't saying, "Oh what a cute baby." and they aren't saying, "what a weird looking baby." So I never know what to say back to that coment. Is it a complement that I say thank you to, or should I be offended. I guess it's just a comment. Well, we think our little E.T. is preety dang cute. So I guess thats all that matters.

SO MUCH FUN AT THE FAIR!!!

So, I have never loved someone so much as I loved Wade tonight. On our way home from eating out with Grandma and Grandpa Ogden we decided to stop at the fair that is here in A.F. right now. Wade saw the fairiswheel and wanted to go on it so bad. Oh my gosh he is so big. He kept pointing at all the scary rides and saying "Mom I want to go on that it looks fun. Look mom it goes around and around and upside down." He wanted to ride everything. First he went on the fairiswheel with Mike and loved it. Mike kept rocking the chair which was scaring me and I was down below with Kingston watching, but Wade was having the time of his life. Kingston was having fun too watching the lights. Then their was this little roller coster. Mike just took him over to it and put him on buy his self. I thought for sure he would freek out, but he loved it. Every time it dropped he would smile so big. My heart just melted because my little boy is growing up so fast. He can ride a roller coaster by his self. Then we went to the cars and he drove them buy his self. Wade and I road the big bumpy slide. He was a little nervise cause we were so high up and we went really fast, but when we got to the bottom the biggest smile came over his face. Then he road the flying saucers that went up and down. He is so big and I just felt so much love for him as I watched his smiling face tonight. I had to journal about it before I forgot. Of course I didn't have my camera with me because it was a last minute decition. Hopefully you get the idea from my discription. Wow, i never knew you could love someone so much as I love Wade. I think we may have a little adrenaline junky on our hands.

Roll Over.

Today Kingston rolled over for the first time. I was lucky enough to get the second time on tape. I can't believe how big he is. He is such a joy in our lives and just so happy all the time. I feel so lucky to be his mom. I love you so much buddy.

I think your supposed to hold that with your hands.

Kingston is starting to learn to hold his bottle him self. He still is not good at it at all, but he tries. The other day I gave him his bottle and then walked away for a second. When I came back this is how he was holding it. I started to laugh so hard. I love that little King he is so funny.

4th of July

So we had a great time in Richfield on the 4th. We wait all year long for the fourth to come. For Mikes family, (and I think most of the people in Richfield) the fourth of July is thier favorite holiday. Mike and his family love the 4th more than Christmas. So of course we were so excited this year because Wade is a little bit older and he was able to partisipate more. But then half way to Richfield I realized i forgot my camera. Oh well, I am sure Mikes mom will post some pictures soon. Anyways, we had so much fun. At six AM the canons boomed and all the kids got up. It was so fun. Their is just this excitment in the air it is awesome. We went to the parade at nine and Wade loved it. He got so much candy. Then to the park for some kiddie races. Wade ran so fast and got himself a shiny 50 cent piece at the finish line. He loved it. We thought that Wade might want to do the fish grab this year. When he first saw the water and the fish swimming in it he wanted to do it. But as soon as they blew the wissel and all the kids jumped in and started grabing fish he got scared. It's ok, maybe next year. Then we headed up to Antimony to the King family reunion. We watched the fire works over the Otter Creek resevore. It was pretty awesome. Mike almost blew up the Lake with some home made bombs. He loves to do fire works. It was pretty awesome though. Mike would light the fire work and throw it in the lake. When it blew up it sent a huge wall of water into the air. Everyone cheered. It was neet. We had a great 4th and look forward to next year.

Wade's Birthday Party.

show me how strong you are.

Wade had a great Birthday party. If you know Wade than you know that one of his favorite things is flags. He is kinda obsessed. I don't know how this obsession started but never the less he loves flags. So he wanted a flag party. Good thing the kid was born so close to the 4th of July or we might not have been able to have a flag party. I made him a flag cake out of strawberrys and blue berrys. He loved it. (thanks for the idea mom.) We had friends over and swam at the pool, made hot dogs and ate cake. Thanks to everyone who came it was fun.

Happy Birthday Wade-O

Wow I can't believe that my little boy is turning three today. We love him so much. He was so excited for his birthday to come. He has been waiting for a long time. I just wanted to take a min. and remember all of the awesome things about Wade that we love. Wade is so fun. He loves to be with people. Any people. He would be happy to be with the bum on the street. He is not afraid of anyone. Even scary people. Infact a few months ago he was out picking flowers and a scary bum looking guy walked by. I watched to see if Wade would be scared of him or not. Wade looked right at him and said " Hi I'm picking flowers." The man smiled with a teethless smile and walked by. Wade wants everyone to be happy. He is very ubservant and always wants you to be smiling. His favorite things are Flags, Windmills, and Flowers. He loves anything that lights up and spins around. He wants everything to be a cape. I had to tie his blanket around him like a cape everyday untill his grandma Ogden resently gave him a real cape. He loves to be a super hero. He loves to dance and sing. He knows the words to songs and he resently started to corect you if you sing the wrong words. It's really cute. He loves to be out side and swim and play. Wade loves to laugh and his favorite shows to watch with his dad are Americas Funniest Home Videos, and resently Wipe Out. He loves to watch people fall and bump in to things. He laughs so hard. Wade is such a joy in our lives. I can't believe he is three. I better end this blogging session. I can't see the screen because my eyes are watering up. I love you Wade-o potato I am so proud of you. Happy third Birthday.

Tell me how you really feel?

Aunt Neisha came over on Sunday to spend some time with Wade for his birthday. It was really fun. We played squirt guns and played with the balls that Neisha gave Wade for his birthday. So this video is so funny. Kingston really doesn't like what Neisha is doing. I love his face right before he screems. Sorry Mike is trying to pick his noes the whole time. That kid has to pick if he sees something pickable. Anyways Kingston, tell us how you really feel?
