No Joke!!!

Ok, this may be dumb to most people, but I am so excited about it. I have this list. A list of things that I want to do in my life. A few of the things on it are things like, going parasailing, skydiving, I really want to be the voice of a cartoon character, writing a fiction novel, and going heliboarding. Any way, these are some of them but you get the idea. Some of them may come true and some may not, but last night one of the things on my list came true. I have always wanted to capture a bolt of lightning on film. Have you ever seen thoughs calenders that have neet pictures of things. They always have a picture of lightning and I think it's cool. It may be dumb but I have always wanted to get a picture of a lightning bolt. I don't have a fancy camera or anything. I know that if i did I could leave the shutter open for a long time and have a better chance, but I don't have that. I just have what ever I have with me at the time. Any time there is a lightning storm I will try to take a picture of it. One time I was trying to use my cell phone camera for like an hour. I have tryed so many times to do it, but it's hard because you don't just have to be quick to take the picture, you have to hope your pointing the camera in the right direction too. Any ways last night Mike and I were driving home and there was a storm in front of us. I got out my camera and assumed the position. As the lightning struck I pushed the button on the camera as fast as I could. I expected to look down as usual to see that I had pushed it to late, but no. There it was on the screen of the camera. I had captured the lightning on the screen. i couldn't believe it. I looked at Mike and started yelling, "I DID IT! I DID IT! I can die happy now. Just kidding I have more things on my list." But I was really happy. I know it may be dumb but here is the proof of the blessed moment in time. I AM SO HAPPY!!! HEE HEE HEE!!! : )

Mormon Miracle Pagent

This Saturday night we decided to take a trip to Manti for the Mormon Miracle Pagent. Mike had seen it before but I never had so we went down to watch. We stopped in Ephriam and ate at Fat Jacks Pizza witch is now called Roys Pizza i guess. It was good. They have this old fashion ice cream and candy shop there. That is why Wade is smiling so big in this picture. You can't see it but the wall in front of him is covered in diffrent kinds of candy. He loved it. When we got to the pagent and layed down our blanket Wade looked up at the temple and said, "Mom, is that the Temple?" I said, "yes it is." Then he said, " but mom, where's the guy." I realized he was looking up and talking about the angel Moroni. It was cute, I told him this temple didn't have and angel Moroni on it. He seemed to understand. It continues to amaze me every day the things Wade notices. The pagent was neet but the mosquitoes were not. Oh well. The show was great, both Kingston and Wade watched the whole thing. I love the Manti Temple it is so beautiful.

A.F. Fitness Center Swimming Fun.

Last night we took Wade to the A.F. Fitness Center for some swimming fun. They have some fun stuff there. They have some little slides and a big slide. Mike tryed to get Wade down the big slide, but he had to take of his life jacket to do it and Mike had to catch him at the end cause the pool was to deep for him to touch. When Mike came down Wade just jumped into the lap of the pretty life gaurd at the top of the slide. When I finally got up there he was just hugging her and smiling. She said that she thought he was so cute. Man, he knows how to work it. We finally got him to go down, but I didn't get it on tape cause I had to catch him. It was cute though. He stayed up the whole time untill the very last turn flipped him onto his head. I could tell he was scared but he just kept saying, "That was so much fun." What a brave little guy.

Kingston loves his bath.

Kingston loves his bath. He splashes and splashes. It is so cute. He does it every time that we give him a bath so I though I better get it on tape before he stops doing it. We didn't know if it was appropriate to show a naked baby so we covered him up with a wash cloth. It's good to be modest. Anyways we think he is so cute. He gets funner every day.

Take me out to the ball game!!!

This Monday night for family night we headed up to Salt Lake for a Bee's game. We went with some of our great friends Josh and Alicia Brown and thier two kids Jaxon and Marabelle and Brooke and Vaughn Schouten and their little bun in the oven (no name picked out yet). It was so much fun to be out in the warm nice weather and watch a baseball game. We ate hot dogs and rolled in the grass. As you can see Wade loves hot dogs. It was so much fun, and the kids loved it.
Kingston enjoyed watching the game too.
Fun family night.

Wade and Jaxon had so much fun rolling down the grass hill and dancing to the music. Here is a little video of the boys doing summer saults. I'm not sure if that's how you spell it, but maybe they call it that cause you do them in the summer down grassy hills like this. just a thought.

Timp, cave hike.

This Saturday afternoon we decided to hike up to the Timpanogos caves. It is about a mile and a half hike straight up the side of the mountain. It is paved the whole way thank goodness, but it was still harder than I thought it would be. We had a great time. This is all of us at the top. We made it! See how Mike is carrying Kingston in the snuggly and Wade on his shoulders? That's how he carried the boys most of the way. Wow what a studd. I was impressed. Some other people on the trail made comments about how crazy he was carrying both of them. I'm just glad I'm married to such an awesome guy who would do that.
Me and my guys on the way up. I made it about one fourth of the way before I handed Kingston over to Mike.
Kingston kept trying to fall asleep. We turned him around at one point so that he could sleep easier, but he didn't like it. He really likes to face forward. I can already tell that he has a stubborn personality. He lets you know when he doesn't like something.
What a pretty view. The view on the hike is so awesome. It was kinda scarry because alot of the trail is on the side of big cliffs. Everytime Wade wanted to walk by his self I was worried he was going to fall off the edge. We just made sure he walked on the inside of us. I was still paranoid. I'm kinda a paranoid person.
Mike and King. Waiting for our turn to go in to the cave. So cute.
Me and Wade-o in the cave. It was so neet. I had never been in Timp cave before. It was really different and cooler than I thought it would be. If you haven't ever done it you should. It was really cool. Wade loved it, but he wasn't allowed to tuch anything. That was really hard for him.
When we made it back down the trail their was this lady that was letting the kids pan for gold. Wade loved it.
Wade is holding up his gold he found in his pan. He was really proud. Wow what a fun day we had. We were so tiered by the end but it was so great to spend time with eachother.

Ahhh!! Saturday Mornings.

I have said it before that I love saturday, but I really love Saturday mornings. Usually Mike is gone to work before Wade gets up (I'm usually asleep too. It depends on Kingston) but on Saturday Wade always climbs into bed with us and snuggels. This Sat. morning I just layed in bed with my family and thought how lucky I was and how much I tressure that time we have together. Man, I love my three guys so much.

Swim, Swim, Swim!!!

Man I love the week end. I wait for it to come all week long and then when it gets here it goes by way to fast. We have a pool at our new place and we swim all the time. It is so fun. We put Wades life jacket on him and off he goes. He is registered for swim lessons in July (they said he has to be three first)and we look forward to the day that he knows how to swim with out the vest, but until then he has so much fun jumping into the pool, spinning around, and getting thrown into the air with out the fear of drowning. His uncle Ryan actually came up this weekend and worked on some swimming tips with Wade. He is a swim teacher at the pool in Richfield. Wade loved it. Kingston loves it too. He just kicks back in his little floating whale. We are having so much fun up here in American fork. We love it.

Brothers

So here are our boys. I always think that my two boys look alot alike. Then I look at these pictures and I'm not so sure. They both have the big eyes thats for sure. What do you think? The top picture is Kingston and the bottom is Wade Both at three months old.

Oh I'm a Big Brother!!!

Latley Wade has been obsessed with pushing the stroller around. He usually puts one of his stuffed animals in it and walks all around. To day we decided to put Kingston in it. Wade was so excited to be the BIG BROTHER. We went on a long walk around our neighborhood. Wade just pushed Kingston the whole time with the biggest smile on his face. I think Kingston enjoyed it too. It was really cute. Wade is such a good big brother.

A.F. Canyon

It's been a while since I blogged. Last weekend we went to Richfield for Memorial day weekend. I forgot my camera. We had fun viseting all of the graves at the cemitary. Mikes mom posted some pictures of that on her sight. This friday we went up American Fork Canyon to our ward activity. It was so pretty and lots of fun. We met alot of nice people in our ward and Wade had fun throwing rocks in to the river.

Oh but Hi Smiley!!!

I never knew I could be in love with someone as much as I was in love with Wade, but then Kingston came along. Man, he has been so smiley lately. When he smiles at me it just melts my heart. I can't believe he is three months old already. His personality is getting to be so cute. We just love him so much.

wade learns about helmets.

This sat. was so nice. It was about 80+ degrees out side. We went swiming in the morning to afternoon and then spent the evening out riding bikes. We got Wade this helmet a while ago but he never wanted to wear it untill today. I think you will see from this video that he finally understands the concept of what a helmet is used for. I though it was funny. Ha Ha!!

Happy Mothers Day.

This morning Mike took Wade down stairs and let me sleep in. I wont tell you how late I slept because it is a little embarising. Lets just say I really slept in. When I finally made it down stairs Mike and Wade had made waffles (Mikes specialty). They were so good. We got ready for church and went to get in the van. Mike had installed my birthday present/mothers day present on the roof of the van. I was so excited. I know its not snowboard season, but I have wanted thease racks for a long time. Our van just keeps getting cooler and cooler. Last week we had a hitch installed so we can hall our bikes. Now with this rack on the roof we are so cool, J/K. Hey when your driving a mini van you have to make it as cool as posible. I love these racks. Hopefully they will get alot of use this next winter. Thanks honey for a wonderful mothers day/ Birthday. I love you.

A day at the Hogle Zoo.

"Look Mom Turkeys."
Wade petting the possum.
Mom and Wade and the rinos.

This Saturday was such a nice day we decided to take Wade and Kingston to the Hogle Zoo. It was so fun because Wade was so excited about all the animals. Every time we got to the next animal cage he would point and laugh and just get so excited. It was a really great day. I love spending time with my boys.

Dianna's Birthday Fun.

My Birthday fell on Mothers Day this year. So we decided to go out on Thursday night to celabrate. We got a siter for the kids, and went with some of our best friends to ride this thing called the Flowrider. It is a big man made wave that you can ride forever if your good enough. It was every ones first time so no one was that good at it. All though by the end of the night we kinda got the hang of it. I made an awesome movie of everyone that came and all our sweet moves, but the movie was to long to down load. So I made this shorter one of just me and Mike. Thanks to everyone who came. It ment alot, and I had so much fun. Remember to pause my music player before watching this movie.

Tag I'm it.

Kara tagged me. This is fun. It is about my awesome best friend and husband Mike O.

Sorry in advance about my spelling. I'm dyslexic.

What is his name? Michael C. (stands for nothing) Ogden. That is what my brother calls him. Mikes middle initial is C. but he doesn't have a middle name. It is just the initial. It is after his dad who has the middle name Charles but Mikes name is not Michael Charles. It is just C. We love it, and so we used it for Kingston. We named him Kingston C. after his daddy.

How long have you been together? We dated for a year and a half before we got married and we have been married for over five years so we have been together for just over six and a half years.

How long did you date? I guess I answered that in the one before. One and a half years.

How old is he? Mike just turned 28 years old.

Who eats more? I would have to say Mike but I can hold my own too. He is just quite a bit taller than me.

Who said " I love you." first? This is one of my favorite stories. I was dropping Mike off at his apartment after a night of hanging out. It was really late at night and for some reason he wouldn't get out of the car. We were both just sitting thier. I was so nervis because I wanted to tell him that I loved him but I couldn't spit it out. We were both just making small talk and I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest. I just kept telling my self to just say it, but I couldn't. Finally Mike turned to me and said, "Dianna I want to tell you something. I love you." I was so relieved and said, "I love you too." So I guess Mike said it first.

Who is taller? Mike is taller 6'4", I am 5'7" almost.

Who is smarter? Well, Mike IS a college graduate, so I would say him.

Who does the laundry? Since I am a stay at home mom I do, But Mike is so good about helping when he is home.

Who does the dishes? Most of the time Mike will do the dishes after dinner.

Who pays the bills? I do. I don't think Mike likes to think about all of his money going to bills. So I just handle all of that stuff.

Who mows the lawn? The gardners do it. We live in an association that takes care of all that stuff.

Who cooks dinner? I mostly do. I try to be a good wife and cook for my husband. Mike loves to cook breakfast. He makes some mean waffels.

Who drives when you are together? Mostly Mike. He is a great driver. Especially in the snow. I just feel better with him driving.

Who is more stubborn? Me, hands down.

Who asked who out first? Mike asked me out. He used to walk with me after our math class. One day he asked me if he could have my number. I wasn't sure about him but I thought, "what the heck." i gave it to him. He told me after we were married that he knew for sure it was a fake number. Just to be sure he called it really fast before I would be home to answer. He couldn't believe it when my answering machine picked up and it was my real number. I think thats funny. We went out shortly after that.

Who proposed? Mike did. He had grabbed my hand the day before in our math class and he drew a ring on my finger. I thought it was cute but I didn't really think anything else of it. Little did I know that he had picked out a ring all by himself and he was picking it up that day. The next day we were alone in his apartment. I was sitting on the couch. All of a sudden he got down on one knee and said "Hey, the ring I drew on your finger yesterday washed off." I felt a little bad. He said, "let me draw you a new one." He pulled a pen out of his pocket and started to draw. He was shaking so bad and i thought, "what the heck is wrong with him." Then he said, " this pen doesn't work. Let me get a diffrent one." He reached in his pocket and pulled out a beautiful ring. I couldn't belive it. He asked me to marry him and I said yes. Then we both got on the couches and started jumping around screaming, "WE ARE ENGAGED!!" It was so fun.

Who wears the pants in the family? I really don't think either of us do. We are pretty open about everything in our relationship. I think we are pretty equal. Maybe I'm just oblivious and that means that Mike wears the pants.

This was fun. It was good to reminisce and remember all of these good times. I tag Alicia, Roxy, and Charlynn. YOUR IT!!

Mike the GRADUATE!!!

I have never been so proud of someone in my life. I am so proud of Mike and all he has acomplished. Mike graduated from Southern Utah University in December, we went back down to Cedar this weekend so he could walk with his class. It was such a neat experience. Mike graduated in Buisness Managment and is curently working for Lincare Medical as a Sales rep. He loves his job and is doing so well at it. If you know Mike than you know he is a people person. Everyone who meets Mike loves him, and he is perfect for sales. Mike I love you, and I am so proud to be your wife. Wow, I am married to a college graduate.
Mike graduated with three of his cousins. These are two of his cousins. Melissa Farmer (Wade loves her), and Kayson King. It was so neat to have them all graduate together.
We made such good friends at SUU. This is one of Mikes good friends Kellen Jones. They actually moved just north of us to Lehi so luckally we still get to see them quite a bit.
Mike and another one of our good friends Adam Law. We both just had new babys so the guys were showing off their new offspring.
Wade and his daddy. Wade lookes up to his dad so much. He wants to be just like Mike, and he does everything that Mike does. I know that because Mike worked so hard and graduated from college Wade will see how important education is and hopefully he will have a desire to go to college him self one day. Wade was so cute this day. He kept asking to where dads pirate hat. It was funny. We love you so much Mike and can't say it enough. We are so proud.

Our two guys.

When we were in California we got some pictures of the boys taken. Their is the nicest ladie in the ward that I grew up in. Her name is Carole Brown. She has a really nice camera and she is so good at capturing photos. She came up one day and took these pictures of the boys. I love them so much. I plan on making copies and sending them to everyone who would want one. I kinda put them in the order that I like best but let me know what you think, and what pictures you would like copies of. Thanks again sis. Brown these pictures are awesome.
