Love the 80s

This past Saturday we went snowboarding at Fairview with some friends. The last time that we hung out at Josh and Alicias, Chris and Char were there. Char gave Alicia and I these SWEET uni snow suits from the 80s. We wore them on Sat. As you can see from the picture they were really tight in the but and the waist on it was ridiculously high. Mike and I got there kinda late and it was so hot that Alicia had to change out of her suit. I just unzipped mine and wore it like a true person from the 80s would have done on a hot day. We took or boys and it was awesome. Wade just went sledding wile we snowboarded. It was really fun and such a nice sunny day. I am ready for spring but I will miss days of snowboarding fun like this.

Happy First Birthday Kingston.

Sorry, I went a little picture crazy. I just can't believe that my baby is one. We had such a fun little party for him. Thank you to everyone who came. Kingston loved his cake and when we put him on the table in front of it he was so excited. We gave him a cup cake to dig into and he loved it untill the end. He started to screem. I don't think he liked to be all dirty. I want to remember this moment in time and the things that kingston is doing so I wanted to write him a letter.
Kingston,
I love you so much. I can't believe how fast you are growing. You are in the 90% for hight. I think you are going to be a tall guy. You have such a fun personality. You love to play peek a boo and patty cake. You smile all the time and laugh too. You are so tickalish. You laugh so hard every time we tickle you. You aren't quite walking yet but you are well on your way. I don't think it will be to long and you will be running every ware. Your favorite time of day is bath time. I think you could be in the bath all day. You love to splash in the water and you smile and screem with joy the whole time. That is another thing, you are a screemer. I think you have something important to say cause you screem out all the time like you really want us to know something. Your favorite person in the whole world is your big brother. Everytime he is around your face lights up. You follow him everyware. You try to keep up with him and it is so cute. You love music especialy drums. You think everything is a drum stick and you drum on everything. Like father like son I guess. Kingston you are so special and I feel so lucky to be your mother. Your family loves you so much and we always want you to know that. Happy birthday sweet boy.
Love,
your Mommy

The pictures I wanted to use

These were the pictures I wanted to use when I did the post about our aniversary. I couldn't find them that day. The top one was our actual engagment picture the others were some that we took for our engagment and we liked but we didn't end up using them. This was the one we actually sent out to people. My mom is sitting at our table right now helping my sister with her invitations for her wedding and I can't help but think how our engagement picture will always be special. I look at this picture of me and Mike and it takes me back to that time. I just will always love it. The other one was on our actual wedding day. I love this picture too. Mike looks so handsome and I love the beautiful ocean in the back round. Again I am so lucky to have married such a great guy.

6 WONDERFUL YEARS!!!

Six years ago on Feb 7th Mike and I were married. These are a couple of our engagement pictures that we used. I can't believe how young we look. I just wanted to write a little note to Mike.

Honey, I just wanted you to know why I love you. Here are a few reasons. You are one of the hardest workers that I know. You are such a good provider for your family. You are so dependable. If you say you will do something, you always do it. I love to be with you. There is no one I would rather spend time with. You always make everything so much fun. You are so funny. You always make me laugh. You always make everyone around you laugh too. You are such an amazing father. You are there for your boys and they know that you love them. They look up to you and want to be just like you. You hold the priesthood and give your family blessings any time we need them. You love music, and are such a talented drummer. You are a freekin good snowboarder and even better mountain bike rider. You have gorgeous blue eyes that look so rad next to your jet black hair. Your tall, and I feel so safe when I hug you. Your pretty much the sexiest man on the planet. I am so lucky to have spent the last 6 years married to you and I am so excited for our future. You amaze me every day. Happy aniversary honey. I love you so much.

Love, (your wife for eternity)

The Circus is in town.

This Monday night for family night we went to the Circus. I have never been to the circus before and it was way cooler than I thought it was gonna be. Wade and Kingston love it too. I put pictures of all of our favorite parts.

Wade loved the guys and girls that did flips on the hanging fabric. They were way awesome.
this guy was so crazy. If you can't see their are four bottles that he started stacking chairs on top of and climbing up the chairs. It was so unstable I thought for sure he was going to fall. The pictures don't do it justic. It was so cool.

Kingston love the Elephants. They looked kinda sad to me.

Mike and I both loved this guy he was jumping on this hoop that was going around. I don't know how to explain it. It looked so fun though. I wanted to try it. Below is a little video of Kingston at the circus. This is how he was acting the whole time. He truely loved it I think. What a fun family night.

Girls day Boarding!!!

This Sat. we had a girls day snow boarding. We left the kids at home with the guys and went boarding with just the girls. It was a pretty fun day. It was sunny and warm. It was a bit crowded. I think we all either ran over someone or got ran over at some point in the day. It was pretty interesting. Char got cut off by what looked like a three year old kid. I think she called him a D. Bag it was funny. Also some crazy lady was repramanding Val cause she thought she ran in to her, but Val didn't even know the lady was talking to her. It was funny. We had a great time and should plan some more trips like that soon.

Super-Wade-O!!!

So Wade has this cape that his Grandma Ogden gave him a while ago. Every morning with out fail Wade walks into my room and says, "Mom will you put on my cape?" He usually has it on the whole day except for naps. I guess he wore it enough because to night he just took off and starting flying around our house. I took some pictures as proof and Wade wanted everyone to see that he can really fly. So next time you are in trouble, don't worry cause SUPER-WADE-O might just come to your rescue.

Happy New Year!!!

We went back down to Richfield for new years. Grandma Ogden got all the kids hats and noise makers and streemers. Wade and all of the other kids actually stayed up till midnight. We counted down and then threw streemers everyware and danced and had a party. Wade loved it, it was tons of fun. Happy New Year everyone.

Christmas Fun!

We had a really fun Christmas this year. We started out by spending Christmas Eve with Mikes Family down in Richfield. Then on Christmas day we headed back up to our house where my family was. We got two amazing Christmas feasts and lots of presents and lots and lots of fun with Grandparents and cousins. Merry Christmas everyone.

Christma eve PJs are the best. We all loved them. Thanks Grandma Ogden.

Christmas morning Wade ran up stairs to see if Santa came. This was the first year that Wade understood that Santa was coming to bring him presents. Wade really wanted a snowboard and got one, but what he wanted most of all and mentioned about eighty times a day untill Christmas was a helicopter that flyes by it self. It looks like he got his wish. He played with the helicopter all morning. He was so excited and it was fun.
King was just happy to tare the paper.

Silly SantasWe had a really fun day of sledding with Grandma and Grandpa Hoagy, uncle John and uncle Chris, Aunt Paula, Caleb and Matthew. We went over by Josh and Alicias house were they have a hill that is perfect for the little kids. Alicia and Jaxon came too and we had so much fun.Wade, Jaxon and Caleb on the sledd. So much fun.Look a snow baby.

Kingston got sleepy in the middle of all the fun. Grandpa Hoagy rocked him to sleep and than laid him in the hamock sledd. He just slept their for the rest of the time. It was so cute. Thanks Grandpa. Below is a little video of Caleb and Wade-o on the sledd. I think they were having fun. What do you think?

King family Christmas party.

Mikes moms family does a Christmas party every year around this time of year. We usually try to go. It is fun to see all of Mikes cosins and aunts and uncles all in one place. Since Christmas is about being with family it is fun to be with everyone. They always do a talent show every year. They start with the oldest of the ten kids and move on down the line. Mike and I desided to try and see if Wade was old enough to do a talent. I practest with him this past week and I think he did pretty well. He is kinda a ham so I didn't thought he wouldn't mind being in front of all of the people I just wasn't sure how he would act. Lana is the oldest of her siblings so we had them start youngest to oldest this year. I thought if Wade saw other people go first he would have more of an idea what he was supposed to do. I had Mike film it. If you can't hear he is singing, "Santa Clause is Coming to Town." Enjoy.

So funny!

So we went to Richfield for the King family Christmas party on sat. Mikes mom has a tredmill in her basment. Wade wanted to try it so Mike turned it on for him, and this is what Wade came up with. The second time around Mike tells Wade he is slowing down the tredmill, but he really sped it up. It is not very bright, but I think you can still see. Sorry for my anoying laugh, I thought this was pretty funny. Oh the things that kids come up with.

Christmas tree hunt.

Isn't it beautiful.
Daddy and Wade-o hiking threw the snow.
Timber.

On Sat. morning we got up early and headed up the mountain with Wade. We left Kingston behind with Grandma. Wade was so excited because we were going on a Christmas tree hunt. When we got up in to the snow Wade started bouncing up and down. As soon as we got out the first thing Wade did was throw a snow ball at me. It was cute. We hiked threw the snow for a little ways untill we found our nice tree. We love having the family tradition of cutting down a Christmas tree. It brings our family together and it is really fun. I think we got ourselves a nice one.

Santa!!!

It has been a long time since I have blogged. We have been crazy moving and getting ready for the holidays. This weekend we were able to go to Richfield for Thanksgiving. It was such a nice trip. Wade and Kingston love to go to thier Grandma and Grandpa Ogdens house. Lana cooked this amazing meal and we all stuffed our selfs full of turkey and stuffing and mashed potatos and cranberry sauce for about three days. It was awesome. The day after Thanksgiving Santa comes to Richfield on main street. He has a little red santa building that sitts empty all year round untill the day after Thanksgiving when Santa comes. It is really neet because Mike has all of these memorize as a kid going to see Santa at his little work shop and now our boys get to do it. Wade was really excited when he first saw Santa but when it was time for him to sit on his lap he got a bit nervise. Kingston didn't care much. Wade was to nervise to tell Santa what he wanted so I had to do it. Wade will talk to the dirtiest, scariest bum on the street, but he wont talk to santa. Oh well maybe next year.

When should your kids take the sacrament?

It was funny cause I was just trying to remember the other day when we started having Wade take the sacrament. I couldn't remember how old he was. We haven't really had Kingston take it yet. We figure he is only eight months old and doesn't really seem to intrested. All that changed on sunday when he decided he want to take the sacrament himself. Let me explain. Latley when we set food in front of Kingston for feeding time he immediately spits his binky out and opens his mouth. It is really cute. Well on sunday Mike was holding King in his lap as the sacrament was being past. As the tray was being past in front of Mike Kingstons eyes got wide and he immediatly spit his binky half way across the room. He opened his mouth and started saying, "aw aw aw." It was so funny. Mike and I just looked at eachother and started laughing. "I guess he wants some bread." I said. I know he doesn't understand the meaning of the sacrament yet, but at least he can practice taking it untill he does. Kingston is so much fun and he really brings so much joy to our family everyday.
