Greatest Saturday in a long time.

This Sat. was prob. the best one I have had in a really long time. My mom came into town for my cosins wedding. On Sat. morning we went out to breakfast with my family. My grandparents, my aunts, and my brother Chris and his wife and kids. I am really glad we got to eat a big breakfast because right after, Mike and I headed up to do the bobsled trail right above salt lake city.(My mom watched our kids. Thanks mom.) It was so beautiful to look down and see the whole city. I think all of us have certain things we do that make us feel closer to our husbands or wives. I feel closest to Mike when we are doing the things we love to do out side. The year and a half that Mike and I dated was spent snowboarding and wakeboarding. The more I did these thing with him, the more I fell in love with him. He was so fun, and not to mention he looked really sexy doing three sixties off of jumps on his snowboard, or cruzing threw the trees in the soft powder. Anyway, getting back to the subject, we don't get to do to much of that stuff any more just me and Mike because we have two little boys who have to tag along now, which usually means one of us has to sit out on the fun. That is ok, it just makes a day like this Sat. extra special. A few years ago when we lived in Cedar Mike got back into mountain biking. He really helped me get into it too. Now it is something that we both really love to do. Of course Mike does all of the crazy stuff. I just like to ride, but I am starting to learn how to jump, as you can see from the picture above. We always put sweet pics of Mike mountain biking on our blog, but none of me. I thought it was about time. After we went mountain biking we dropped the kids off at Josh and Alica/ Chris and Shars house (thanks again guys) and headed up to the Salt Lake Temple for the wedding. I always love going to weddings. I love to listen to what the sealer is saying and pretend I am getting married all over again. It was really nice. Every time something was said that touched me, I would feel Mike squeeze my hand three times, which is our secret way of saying I love you. (I am starting to find out that alot of people do that. So I guess it's not so secret, but still special to me). After the sealing my cosin had a really nice dinner for everyone over at the Joseph Smith building. It was up on the 9th floor, and it over looked the Temple. The Temple is so beautiful at night, and it was really breath taking. I fell asleep that night just feeling so good, and so happy. I really had such a wonderfull day with my husband. I was remided through out the day why I love him so much and that I am so lucky to have married him.
